The TIDRADIO TD-H8 radio can be switched between different modes to meet the needs of different users - a single radio for multiple uses.

High Power:
The TIDRADIO TD-H8 2nd Gen is a dual-band ham radio with two power tubes. This unique design enables it to consistently transmit at a high output power across the frequency range, offering a longer communication range compared to typical 5-watt, 8-watt, and 10-watt radios.
Mobile Programming and Repeater Linking:
No need for a TIDRADIO wireless programmer, computer, or drivers. The built-in wireless programming module allows you to manage your two-way radio directly from your phone, anywhere and anytime. You can also link to nearby repeaters using the app on your phone.
Multiple Features in One App:
Install the Odmaster app on your phone to access features like channel editing, nearby repeater search and import, and radio configurations save/share. The app provides free updates and feature upgrades, so you don't need to buy another radio.
2500mAh Battery:
The rechargeable 2500mAh Li-ion battery offers a larger capacity compared to regular Baofeng walkie-talkies with 1800mAh batteries. The larger battery supports 12 hours of continuous use and 60 hours of standby. The power-saving function further extends the uptime of your 10-watt ham radio.
Large LCD Color Screen:
A bigger screen with better color and detail. Radio Warranty

TIDRADIO will be responsible for the damage caused by transportation accidents. And we offer 6 months of radio repair for free. (Radio accessories enjoy 3 months repair warranty, from the date of the first receipt.)
Beyond the warranty period: We still offer maintenance service, buyers are required to afford the corresponding cost.

A: We warrant that the Products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and use following the respective product user manual, during the Warranty Period (defined below). Q: How can I extend the life of my radio's battery?
A: Fully charge the battery, remove it from the radio, and store it in a dry place.
Q: What should I do with my radio if I don't use it often?
A: Make sure the battery is fully charged, remove it from the radio, and store both the radio and its accessories in a dry place.
I had to exchange a device immediately after purchase because the microphone jack wasn’t working. However, the support team was excellent and replaced the device right away. Everything worked perfectly for two weeks of daily use, but then one of the devices started failing repeatedly.
Almost every time I pressed the donation button, the receiver emitted a high-frequency beeping sound, and eventually, the device stopped turning on altogether. Since I encountered two issues in such a short time, I decided to discard one device and accept the loss.
In July, I’ll be showcasing various radios, power stations, and foldable solar panels on my Instagram account. I’ll also revisit this radio then. My Instagram handle is *Saschbeert* if anyone is interested.
However, I’m confident that Tidradio’s products rarely have issues. The build quality is generally excellent, and the price is fair. The support was also fantastic—quick, professional, and efficient.
I might even order an "M6 Plus 2.4 Inches Touch Screen 4G PoC Mobile Radio" because I’ve never owned such a device before, and it would be an exciting new experience for me.
Brilliant Walkie Talkie especially on the Ham Frequencies. I only a few of the TidRadio TD-H8's I like the scanner feature as well. I also own a couple of TidRadio TD-H3 these are brilliant with custom firmware on. Especially Nicsure. Definitely worth the money. They are well built easy to use and very versatile.
love the radio, the only thing is that even unlocked i cant have accès to 10w on gmrs for back country emergency use
