What does this limited warranty not cover?
This limited warranty does not cover damages that occur directly or indirectly due to:
- Accidents, misuse, abuse, vandalism, or acts of God (such as lightning or other weather conditions).

I have been using the H8 2nd generation radios for about a week and I have been impressed with the performance. I have run the H8 radios through their paces on an IFR 1200s service monitor and used the radios in the field.
Programming is easy and I was able to figure out the system wihtout needing to consult the manual. The receiver is very sensitive, giving a readable signal with less than 1/10th uV (-130 dBm). Adjacent channel rejection is also good. The transmitter is also impressive. Frequency accuracy is within 10 to 50 Hz of dead on. The CTCSS deviation is about 500 - 600 Hz and audio deviation is about 6 KHz at normal speaking levels in wide mode. Power output is close to the advertised 10 Watts near the bottoms of both VHF and UHF bands. Power output gradually decreases as frequency increases in both bands. The H8 is one of the most consistently powerful HTs I have tested. Spectral purity is also good with all distortion at least 60 dB below carrier.
I have found the H8 to be very user friendly and a good value for the price. I am pleased with the purchase and would buy the H8 radios again.

Good little radios. Odmaster makes them easy to program. Would like to see a way to disable the transmit on selected channels. Would like to see scan banks. Good purchase.
These are easy to program and clone with the app or chirp. They have some heft to them, I think they feel sturdy. I'm a little cautious of the lightweight battery clip. Time will tell. Overall I am very pleased.
