TIDRADIO GM-5R Two-Way GMRS Repeater Capable Radio

I like these because they come loaded with extras out of the box. The large batteries are a plus. If you are just getting into GMRS like myself these are a good starter radio for sure or just to keep in the vehicles. I have not tested the distance these can go yet but soon will. You can't change the antenna so they are what they are. But I can swap around all the other accessories they came with with my other radios I have already.

I have not had them long or really had much chance to use them, but so far they seem great.

These radios are very nice but I gave them a 3 star because of getting them to stay on frequency when you program in the repeater that you want to use it has a tendency to shut down the repeater again and no transmitting but receive or no received that transmit it took a long time to get this to work so I give it a 3-star other than that the radio is a very nice radio works good hope this is of some help to someone out there

This radio set is very nice. Quality was excellent to go with a great price.
Made very well and worked great. Reluctantly I returned them because I require a waterproof and more rugged radio for hunting and boating.
Despite that, these radios work. I was hitting repeaters all around my area and was able to speak with other GMRS operates miles away. The FM works. I was listening to radio stations crystal clear.
Looking for GMRS radios. These are worth trying out.

I got these radio and all I had to do is charge them up and I was up and running ,no problem to hear or tramsmit up to 5 to 10 miles . Get ready for what's coming you and your family need to stay safe this will help knowing where everyone is.
