Figured this would be good to use for storm spotting. Got it delivered, programmed, batteries charged and on the road. USB programming cable that comes with it- easy!!!! Downloaded chirp, was good to go. All in all not a bad handheld.

Solid radio and Bluetooth takes it to the next level.
I received my Bluetooth programmer. I downloaded the Odmaster App, charged the programmer. It worked instantaneously. Nice! Plus, it can travel with my phone, I don't normally carry a laptop. Nice job. I could be wrong but I don't Baofeng has this.

Best cheap radio out there
I purchased this radio for easy to carry, local use, including my own Link to EchoLink, and the local repeater about 2.5 miles away. The standard antenna on this works well from my desk.

Decent radio at a great price
I got this for a gift, and it was a really nice package, with handy accessories. Once programmed, the radio works very well, and it can sit for literally months with the battery charged, and will still work when you pick it up! Great to keep around for an emergency.
